Sticker Shock!

Usually the Mrs. does all the grocery shopping unless we’re grilling, and then it would be me. Stopped at the Meat Counter over the weekend, looking for a pair of nice Ribeyes. Holy Smokes, a nice Ribeye costs about the same as a Lobster Tail, I know, I know, with Diesel over 6 dollars it puts a squeeze on everything. Especially the farmers!

I don’t know Gary, that’s one good looking ribeye. I say “money be damned, I’m having a ribeye.” For my money, I’ll take the steak over lobster tail all day long.

Ribeye my go to as well, wife a big fan of lobster but I just don’t get the whole lobster thing, just reheated a 40 day aged ribeye for lunch that still melted in my mouth as it did when I first ate it. A little char on outside and rare on inside…OH YEAH!
