I’m not one to brag but here’s a chance for me to give a shout-out to a Nephew of mine who did something pretty darn cool for Homecoming this year. Click on the link for the story…

Meet the Young Pilot Behind the Homecoming Game Flyover

It’s 1948 and among other things, Grandma’s looking like a real Hottie at athe Gas Station!

A Quote from the late, Mike Ditka…

This week’s Brain Teaser. What’s wrong with this picture?

Does anyone have any recommendation through personal experience for lodging in Price County Wisconsin? around Park Falls or surrounding communities? with snowmobile trail access, a restaurant/bar on location or very close by and again snowmobile accessible? looking for either a Hotel/resort type stay where one could book a few rooms. Thank you

We’re glad to have you with us. Don’t be a stranger and stop in anytime!

John Deere will now be producing Yamaha UTVs. Sounds like an interesting combination to me. I know it’s not in the plans for now, but I kinda like the idea of my Wolverine in Deere colors.

OK, let’s start off the week with a Brainteaser. What’s wrong with this picture?
Clue: You’re looking for 4 Errors in the picture.

If you look closely you’ll see an Old Snowmobile in this photo!

Hello, on this First Day of Autumn. Cooler temps greet us each mornng now and I’m good with that. I’m quite sure we’ll have some Indian Summer yet but we’ve flipped another page on the calender and that’s one page closer to Winter.

I thought it timely for me to pass along some info regarding the website. We launched a…Read More

My new rear bumper for the 2026 Kawasaki Ridge Platinum Ranch Edition. For some reason it didn’t come with one. Chose this heavy duty beast with LED lights in it. The bumper is a product of Extreme Metal Products-EMP. Thank you to Chad and his service department at M&M Powersports for their top notch service.

OK, give us your best Eagle Eye for this one….as the caption says, it’s 1966 and what is wrong with this picture?

Found this in a store on Oahu yesterday. I bet the vast majority of people that see it have no idea what it is.

Checking how the members are doing in the Neenah and Appleton doing with the bad weather

We had family visiting for the Air Show in Oshkosh last week and I took a day off to show them another of our local attractions. In the second photo, mowing the grass at Lambeau. They use four walk behind industrial mowers. I would’ve thought they have some big Zamboni type, but nope, they mow the grass the same as you and me and not one dandelion…Read More

Correct me if I’m wrong. Are the seats getting smaller as our butts are getting bigger?

Here’s a link to the Remote Cams that run 24 hours a day. Boeing Plaza, Warbirds, Sea Plane Base, and everything else. The next best thing to being there…https://www.eaa.org/airventure/live

A steady stream of Aircraft lined up in Arrival Mode for AirVenture. This was Sunday afternoon.

Looks like we’ll have the website on AutoPilot at times this week as I’ll be working/volunteering at the AirVenture Fly In, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin over the next few days. We live about 15 miles north of the show so it’s hard to escape from the planes overhead, traffic, and visitors from around the world.
More than 700,000 visitors last year, so…Read More

Proud Uncle here! My Nephew, Ben received his Pilot’s License this week. Congratulations young man, the sky’s the limit and welcome to AirVenture in Oshkosh!

I was on the grounds of the AirVenture Fly In from Oshkosh today. The smoke was so bad over Wisconsin, all traffic was on IFR. No visibility to fly.

It’s worse today. Here is a shot from this morning at the boat launch in Lake Linden. You cannot even see across the short distance to the opposite shoreline, forget about visibility when you get out to the open water, crazy!

smoke thick down here in SE Wisc too this morning! taste and smell it! Crazy!!

Wow, that is some thick smoke! Don’t breath! But seriously, be careful. Jon, I don’t know about the Circle Flies. We have our share of fly varieties but I don’t think we have those.

Circle Flies? They really seem bad around here this summer. I’m outside everyday after work and they’re here everyday. Anyone else experiencing Circle Flies this bad? Maybe it’s just me.🤔

Really like how the site is still evolving!! GREAT JOB GARY!!

I doubt anyone else does this but I find that if I put a couple of squirts of Klotz in the lawn tractor gas tank when I fill it, I get a whiff of winter every time I fire it up. It really helps me get motivated to cut the grass .

What would you do in Rochester MN? Wife finally got accepted by Mayo to evaluate wtf is going on with her leg.
So happy on so many levels first being her well being but she finally will have to travel and get in the camper! I sold the “Van Cave” and bought a travel trailer as she mentioned she “might” travel with something bigger.. (even though…Read More
